ANGELA'S recent appearances include Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro (Brooklyn Repertory Opera),  Don Giovanni and Amahl & the Night Visitors (Chelsea Opera), Voices of Hope Concert Series (UWS & West Village), Moby Dick: The Sermon, and the role of Kathleen O'Leary in Susan Stoderhl's contemporary opera AFRAID (both with BRO), Sally in Die Fledermaus (Stony Hill Players), Minerva in Orpheus in the Underworld (highlights) and The Mikado (both with Ridge Light Opera), and the Faure & Durufle Requiems (Morris Conservatory Symphonic Chorus).  Musical theater favorites include numerous productions by award-winning composer Regan Ryzuk such as Rapunzel in Rapunzel, Stephanie in Joe’s Bar, Star Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, and the Snow Queen in Holiday MagicOther favorites include Estelle in The Full Monty (CAP), Stewardess Robinson in Titanic at the Count Basie Theater, Francisca in West Side Story and Mrs. Dunlop in The Music Man at the historic Darress Theater.  An Arkansas native, she cheered at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, earned her Master's degree from the University of Memphis, and moved to the NY area 10 years ago to pursue her love of the visual, fitness, and performing arts.  Mrs. Sbano is the cantorial soloist at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Brooklyn.




CHRISTINA ROSAS, Mezzo-Soprano

CHRISTINA most recently appearanced in Manhattan as The Mother in Amahl & The Night Visitors.  A native of Miami, she earned her BA in Voice Performance from Florida Southern College (graduating cum laude), and completed her Masters of Arts degree in Music from Middle Tennessee State University where she also worked as a graduate teaching assistant.  A performer in Opera, Song Recital and Chorale Singing, Ms. Rosas has performed throughout the US, and sung the title role in La Curandera as part of Opera Colorado’s 2007 Outreach Ensemble.  As a member of the ensemble, she toured the state of Colorado and sang for over 80,000 people.  Other favorite roles include Cherubino in Le Nozze de Figaro, Annio in La Clemenza di Tito, Dinah in Trouble in Tahiti, The Mother in Amahl & the Night Visitors, Clarina in La Cambiale di Matrimonio, and Hansel in Hansel and Gretel.  New York operatic roles include Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Flora in La Traviata and Pitti-Sing in The Mikado.  Performing with collaborative artist Jason Hart, Ms. Rosas has performed in numerous recitals such as Trinity Church's Concert at One Series and the Harvard Club, and recently produced their first CD.  Ms. Rosas is the alto section leader for St. Gregory's Church on the Upper West Side. 


MARC SCHREINER, Tenor
Marc Schreiner has performed a wide range of tenor repertoire throughout the United States and Europe.  Last season's engagements included:  Laurie in Mark Adamo's Little Women with Syracuse Opera, Narraboth in Salome by Richard Strauss with the Toledo Opera, Pinkerton in Puccini's Madama Butterfly with the Battle Creek Symphony, Il Duca in Verdi's Rigoletto with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, Alfredo Germont in Verdi's La Traviata with The Lake George Opera, Il Duca In Verdi's Rigoletto with Syracuse Opera, George Shannon in Michael Ching's Corps of Discovery with Fargo Moorhead Opera, Lysander in Britten's Midsummer Night's Dream, and Cassio in Verdi's Otello with Des Moines Metro Opera.  Upcoming Engagements:  Rodolfo in La Boheme- Fargo ND, and Orpheus in Gluck's Orpheus and Euridice with Opera Memphis.


COLM FITZMAURINCE, Tenor

Making his mark in Operetta, Opera and Music Theater throughout the United States and Europe, Colm premiered a number of leading roles this past year with New York’s Gilbert and Sullivan Players at New York’s City Center: including Ralph (HMS Pinafore), Frederic (The Pirates of Penzance), Hilarion (Princess Ida) and Marco (The Gondoliers). Colm made his European debut as Tamino in Die Zauberflöte in Paris. He returned to Europe, touring Germany as Tony in West Side Story. Colm has been featured with Dayton Opera, Indianapolis Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, Virginia Opera, & more. He regularly tours The US and overseas in concert and stage productions.  Originally from MN, Colm received his Bachelors and Masters in Vocal Arts from USC in Los Angeles, and serves as cantor at Good Shepherd.




JASON KAMINSKI, Baritone

Jason's signature roles include Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Mercutio in Roméo et Juliette, Marcello and Schaunard in La Bohème, Dottore Malatesta in Don Pasquale, Escamillo in La tragédie de Carmen, Guglielmo in Così fan tutte and Dr. Falke in Die Fledermaus. In 2006, Mr. Kaminski had the honor of covering the baritone villain, Shrike in a world premiere opera entitled Miss Lonelyhearts for the Juilliard Opera Center.  He sang in another world premiere creating the role of Uttamatomakin in Pocahontas for the Virginia Arts Festival celebrating the 400th anniversary of the founding of Jametown.  In concert, he has sung the baritone solos in Carmina Burana, Fauré Requiem, Messiah and R. Vaughn Williams’ Fantasia on Christmas Carols.  Placing in noted competitions such as the Annapolis Opera Vocal Competition, Paul Robeson Vocal Competition, Marcella Sembrich Vocal Competition, Pittsburgh Concert Society Young Artist Competition, and the Maryland Opera Society Competition two years in a row, he has received a career grant from the Career Bridges Foundation and was featured in Classical Singer Magazine as a winner of their 2005 Vocal Competition.  He performed at the Kennedy Center as a finalist in the National Symphony Young Soloists Competition, and as a young artist was engaged by numerous opera companies across the country, and internationally with the Music Festival of Lucca, Italy.  Mr. Kaminski earned his B.F.A. in voice from Carnegie Mellon University, and a M.M. in Opera from the University of Maryland. 




MATTHEW CURRAN, BASS

Matthew has garnered attention internationally with his broad range of repertoire and strong physical presence.  He received his Master's degree at the prestigious Indiana University School of Music, which led him to being immediately accepted into the Seattle Opera's young artist program where he sang Colline in La Bohème, Don Magnifico in La Cenerentola and Zaretsky in Eugene OneginFollowing Seattle he furthered his training at the International Opera Studio in Zurich singing Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte, Macrobio in Rossini's La Pietra del Paragone, and Max Hammer in Der Musikfeind. Since then he has been singing regionally in the United States in Operetta, Music Theater, Oratorio, and Opera.  Mr. Curran has focused on the core bass repertoire while actively pursuing contemporary and lesser-known works such as Britten's Gloriana, Lieberman's The Picture of Dorian Gray, and Hagen's Shining Brow with the Buffalo Philharmonic, which was recorded live and recently released on the Naxos label.  As a regular singer with American Opera Projects, he most recently appeared as Inspector Watts in Stephen Schwartz’s Séance on a Wet Afternoon.  Upcoming engagements include a return to Lorin Maazel’s Castleton, VA farm for the Castleton Festival’s revival of The Beggar’s Opera.




ZACK RABIN, Bass-Baritone

Zack's recent engagements include Leporello (cover) in Don Giovanni with St. Petersburg Opera, the title character in Don Pasquale with Capitol City Opera, Dulcamara (cover) in L'elisir D'amore with St. Petersburg Opera, Bartolo in Le Nozze di Figaro, Sarastro in The Magic Flute in NYC, and  frequent performances with Opera Collective in Manhattan.  He made his European debut two summers ago in France with the festival Lyrique-en mer where he sang the role of Luther in The Tales of Hoffmann and was a part of the young artist supercoro.  He returned to France this summer to cover Basilio in Il Barbiere di Siviglia and sing Sacristan in Tosca.  Previous roles also include Colline/Schaunard in La Bohème, Le Chat in L'enfant et les Sortilèges, Seneca in L’Incoronazione di Poppea, Dottore in La Traviata, Junius in The Rape of Lucretia, Carl-Magnus in A Little Night Music, Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro, Frank in Die Fledermaus, Masetto in Don Giovanni, Sprecher in The Magic Flute, and Simone in Gianni Schicchi.  In addition to his Master’s degree in Voice Performance from the Brooklyn College Conservatory, Mr. Rabin has received numerous scholarships and awards, and has trained with prestigious organizations such as Joan Dornemann’s internationally renowned "The International Institute of Vocal Arts” in Tel Aviv, Israel, and “The International Vocal Arts Institute” in Chiari, Italy.
