Ethereal Weddings...
Our extensive wedding repertoire includes music for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and/or reception. Our vocalists are available individually or as part of duets and ensembles, and can sing any song in any language. We can also arrange for instrumental ensembles (harp, flute, violin, cello, piano, guitar, upright bass, etc.).
Private Parties:
Our professional vocalists and musicians bring sophistication, style, and fun to your celebration. Our most popular package is the timeless soprano/tenor duo which enables your guests to enjoy the world's most beloved arias and duets. Choose from our musical themes below, or let us help you design your perfect repertoire. Soloists, trios, and quartets also available, as well as musicians (piano, etc.).
Program 1: Opera in the Media
Thanks to Ghirardelli chocolate commercials and Oscar-winning films such as Life is Beautiful, operatic melodies are receiving prime time pop culture airplay. This program features everything from Bugs Bunny cartoons to British Airways commercials to the Mozart duet in Shawshank Redemption which gets Andy, played by Tim Robbins, thrown in 'the hole.'
Program 2: A Night with Gilbert & Sullivan
Yum-Yum, Koko, the Three Little Maids, Mabel, Fredrick... the gang's all here with their splendid arias, rapid-fire patter, and Pirates a plenty. Songs from the Mikado, HMS Pinafore, Pirates of Penzance and more are among the possible repertoire for this program.
Program 3: Roaring Twenties
Rodgers & Hart (My Funny Valentine, The Lady is a Tramp), Cole Porter (Anything Goes, Too Darn Hot), Jerome Kern (Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes), Irving Berlin (White Christmas, There's No Business Like Show Business), the Gershwins (I Got Rhythm, Summertime)... the geniuses from this glamorous era have given us unforgettable melodies - so many to choose from!
Program 4: The Golden Age of Broadway
Mid-century heavy hitters such as Rodgers & Hammerstein (Oklahoma, The Sound of Music, South Pacific, The King & I), Leonard Bernstein (West Side Story, Candide), Lerner & Lowe (My Fair Lady, Camelot), etc., are examples of possible programming options.
Program 5: Disney-fied & Modernized Broadway
Songs from modern-day masters such as Sondheim (Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods), Andrew Lloyd Webber (Cats, Phantom of the Opera), Kander & Ebb (Cabaret, Chicago), as well as other great works like Grease, Titanic, Wicked, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Legally Blonde, and Mary Poppins, etc., are among the fabulous programming possibilities.
